Bánffy Day – Open Day at Bánffy Castle, Bontida

The Transylvania Trust organizes the new edition of Bánffy Day at 22nd of September 2019, beside the various programmes for children and guided tours, we present Miklós Bánffy’s book, The Transylvanian Trilogy, translated into Romanian. At the book launch we’ll have a discussion also with the members of the Bánffy family.

In addition to the members of the Bánffy family we have invited: Marius Tabacu, translator of the novel, Mile Lajos, consul general of Cluj-Napoca from Hungary, Kósa András László, caretaker of the Romanian edition and director of the Balassi Institute of Bucharest, Krizbai Béla, vice-principal of the Romanian Cultural Institute, Lucian Nastasă-Kovács, the author of the introduction essay. Moderator: Hegedüs Csilla, president of the Transylvania Trust Foundation.
Dragoș Pop, actor of the The National Theatre of Cluj-Napoca will read excerpts from the novel.
